It is my belief that this letter was signed by a secretary and not the future President
.  Biden wrote to autograph dealer Joe Rubinfine about his 1967 Corvette Stingray. Biden has an enduring and well-publicized love of Corvettes:
“It is true that I have a keen interest in 1967 Corvettes. As a matter of fact, my ‘original’ 1967 purchase of a green 327 Stingray in November of 1966 is still in my possession, and I am having it restored by Robert J. Gold of Greenville, Delaware, a man who has restored many automobiles and is considered by many to be the best Corvette man in the country…Again, I think you very much for your following through and sharing your interest in Corvettes with me. I hope you have enjoyed yours as much as I have enjoyed mine. If you ever wanted it to trade hands with someone who understands and cared for Corvettes, Bob Gold is the guy. Sincerely,
