This pendant was handmade during the Retro period of the Art Deco era. Composed of 14k yellow gold, the pendant features a beautiful tumbled turquoise stone. The use of such a colorful stone in this pendant is an excellent example of the Hollywood Regency style, which rose to popularity during the Retro period. Eager to show off their wealth and style, Hollywood celebrities and socialites during this time would adorn themselves with glamorous jewelry, usually featuring large and beautiful stones. The tumbled turquoise stone measures an impressive 15.03 carats and has beautiful light and darker blue hues with grey veining. The stone has been carefully drilled through the middle, and a yellow gold wire has been inserted to keep the stone secure. The History
