    11 5/8” long, 6”wide, 1 ¼” tall.
    391 grams or 12.57 troy ounces.
    This is a solid silver Paris 1st Standard .950 (better than sterling, which is only 925/1000 parts pure silver) tray 1797-1809 by Abel-Etienne GIROUX. The mark AEG under a panache was used between 1798 and 1815. The first coq , and moyenne garantie (a face with 85 for Paris ) mark were used from 1787 to 1809.     vres mark used after the revolution. So the piece was made between 1798 and 1809. It has had a monogram or coat of arms removed. It is noticeable if you don’t polish it and it tarnishes it, but otherwise you don’t really notice.
