This is a NOS Original
1970s Chevrolet TRUCK Promotional LICENSE PLATE
made by Chevy for Auto Show or Dealer use. This standard size 6 x 12" plate is made of stamped aluminum with raised blue and black  "bolted" truck bowtie logo, slogan lettering
and blue border

is the slogan and the background color is silver.
The plate applies to all the Chevy truck models....Blazer, Pickups, Suburban, El Camino, LUV, Chevy Van, Sportvan etc.
Condition
of the plate is NOS excellent with no marks, dents or dings. There are a few tiny, shallow scratches which look like they were in the plate when it was made and that no one would ever notice. This was a VERY hard plate to photograph due to the highly reflective silver background, and the plate looks far better in person than it does here!
The plate has never been mounted on a truck
