This is a NOS Original
1969 Chevrolet Impala or Caprice Custom Coupe PROMOTIONAL TIE BAR
which Chevy executives would wear and give away as a special gift. The jewelry was made for Chevrolet by the famous Balfour Company. This was the only type of Chevrolet Full-size jewelry in '69 so it applies to all Impala, SS, Caprice, Bel Air, Biscayne & Station Wagon models.
The Tie Bar has a 1" wide oval with a scale model '69 inside. The oval and car are cast metal and heavily gold-tone chrome plated with semi-gloss paint used to set off the car and its details. The tiny details include the wheel covers, bumper, door opening lines and more.
The original Balfour clear and blue plastic box with foam insert is included.
Condition
of the tie bar and its box is NOS Mint.
